Every genre of music has it’s players… some are average… some are good… some are talented… and some are gifted. The gifted are the ones who carry the genre to the next gifted musician, and they help define that genre… and their notoriety helps bring that music to the forefront and be noticed.
When it comes to Bluegrass… one of the gifted… has to Richard Bennett… and what a contribution he has made… and is still making to that music.
You can’t help but get noticed when you are gifted like that… and that is just what happened with Richard… and from that “noticing” a partnership was created… and a bond was formed with Richard and Boucher.
We’re excited to get to handle Richard’s Signature model… straight from his own specs… and even down to the “speed neck” which he has specified… where the finished has been reduced and helps to provide continued ease of hand movement… even on hot summer days of performing and making music for the crowd.
The quality of this instrument defies description… and you begin to bond with it as soon as you make the first “E” chord.
Also… if you are within driving distance of our shop… you owe it to yourself to come and experience this work of Boucher art.
